Ariana reports and writes both in English and Spanish, and is interested in data and investigative stories. She is a 2023 winter/spring health and science reporting intern at The Wall Street Journal.

As a journalist, Ariana covers labor, the environment, and health, among other topics. Her writing has appeared in The Texas Tribune, Univision, City Limits, Compound Butter, and The Bushwick Daily. She received an M.A. in Bilingual Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York.

She graduated from Bard College in 2015 with a B.A. in written arts and human rights. She has interned and worked at The Texas Tribune, PEN America, Triple Canopy, the Cervantes Institute, Conjunctions, and New Directions Publishing.
